Sympathy Cards

Hi Everyone, I don't do sympathy cards very often but this week I had to do two of them. We had a friend of the family loose their father and a friend of mine and my son's lost their husband/dad. We want both families to know that our thoughts are with them.

Christmas Card 2011

Hi Everyone! We are in the middle of a snow storm right now so it is a good day to stay inside and get some work done and upload a few pictures. This is the Christmas Card that I made for Christmas this past year. It took a long time so I was really glad when I was done. I sounded so simple and fast in my head, but then I kept wanting to add more details. I ended up handing a lot of them out by hand since it cost so much to ship. Here I make my own cards to save money, but it ends up costing me more :). Everyone seemed to love them so it was all worth it. Next year I told everyone I am going to do something simple. We will see if I can do that or not :). It's hard to see but the cover I letter pressed which in person looks really nice. I need to learn how to take better pictures. I hope you all enjoy and post again soon!

Throwback Thursday Challenge 01/05/12

Hi Everyone! It has been a very long time since I have been on my blog. Things have finally slowed down here so I am spending more time in my scraproom and doing LOTS of catch up. What a busy year it was. We did a lot of landscaping during the summer and fall, then football started and took up lots of time and then I started in on my Christmas cards and let me tell you I have never been so happy to get something done. I hope to post some pictures of them sometime yet this week. So onto this project. This was for another Throwback Thursday challenge over at My Creative time with Emma. (here is her site if you would like to go and visit www.creativetimeforme.com. She has a ton of cute ideas) For this project we were suppose to do something with our Sports Mania Cartridge or something sporty. I do have that cartridge but nothing creative was coming into my head when I was looking at it, so I decided to make some gift card holders for my two nieces who won my son's fantasy football this year (go girls). I found this little cheerleader on the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge and I think she is so cute! I hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by.
