Throwback Thursday Challenge 04/01/11

Happy April Fools day! We are suppose to get a rain and snow mix today so that is a pretty bad April fools day prank...really snow??? Spring has to be coming, it just has to. For todays post I did a card for Emma's at My Creative Time with Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge. For this challenge we are NOT to use our Cricut Machine which was hard for me but I did it. I haven't done a card without it in quite a while. I just made a quick Easter card. I think it turned out pretty cute, so maybe I will try more cards without my Cricut...gasp! Aren't we cute

Good Afternoon! What a beautiful day it is here in WI. Not really warm, but the sun is shinning and there is no wind, so it feels great! I got the pups out for a walk today so hopefully they will sleep well tonight. For todays post I did one of my pups. These were just after they got their hair cut. We go to Petsmart and I think they do a great job and they always add a cute bow on when they are done. Now that I think about it I don't think I even used my Cricut on this one. That is huge for me :). Well I hope you are all having a great day and will post more soon.

Forever Young

Hi Everyone, I have been working on a few things, so I finally have something to put on my blog. Yea! For todays post I did a couple things using the Forever Young Cartridge. First I made a journal for myself to hopefully help me get motivated into eating better and log what I am eating and exercise that I do. If not it is just pretty to look at :). The next project I made was a birthday card for my niece that is turning 16 this weekend. That number is making me feel old! I can remember when she was born and the only grandchild. Now their are 8. Time goes by so fast. Anyways, I hope you enjoy them and are having a great day!

Wedding Invite

Good Morning, How is everyone today? We woke up to snow here in WI and I can't say that I like it one bit. It is pretty, but I am over the pretty white stuff. Bring in spring!! For todays post I am putting on some pictures of the wedding invites that I did for my cousin. She purchased the brown folders and invites as a set from Joanns....which was a great idea. I then printed on the invites and the other cards for what she wanted to say. I then added some pictures and flowers and velcro to hold everything closed, so pretty easy. I also trimmed down the invite so we could add some aqua paper behind it to bring out the aqua that she is having in her wedding. I hope you like them and hope you have a great day!

Wedding Save the Date card

Just wanted to do a quick post of a Save the Date Card I did for my cousin's wedding. The dresses are going to be a Mocha and Aqua, so that is the theme of the Save the Dates and the Invites. I wasn't sure how I would like the colors together but I like them a lot. I will get the Invites posted soon too. Have a great night!

Throwback Thursday Challenge 03/03/11

Hi Everyone, Todays post is for another one of Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenges at My Creative time with Emma. Today the challenge is to use an old cartridge and do something for St. Patrick's day. I used one of my favorites Paper Doll dress up for the little boy and Simply Charmed for the pot of gold. I suppose that one isn't too old, but I liked the pot of gold in that one. I also used my favorite Peachy Keen stamps. I think it is time to buy some more. I love them! Well I hope you are all having a good day. It is raining here and most of the snow is gone. Spring is on it's way. I hope :).

Snow day page

Hi Everyone, for this post I did a scrapbook page about the big snow storm we had. It was Dawson's first snow day. We haven't had much snow here in WI, but this time we got about a foot of snow with over 5 feet in snow drifts. Dawson and the pups had a ton of fun. I am glad winter is almost over and hopefully we won't have anymore big snow falls. I AM SO READY FOR SPRING!! For this page I used the Winter Wonderland Cartridge. I am starting to like this one a lot.

Happy Birthday Page

Hi Everyone, Here is a page I did for my son Dawson's 12th birthday. I can't believe I have a 12 year old son. I don't feel old enough :). For this one I used the Wild West Cartridge for the wording and Create a Critter for the balloons. I also used Peachy Keen Everyday faces for the balloons. I think they are so cute. I love that stamp set. I hope eveyone is having a great day and I hope to add more to my blog soon!

Picture Frames

Hi everyone! Today I got some time to work in my scraproom and thought I would do something other than a card or scrapbook page. Today I made a couple picture frames for my scraproom. I found these wood frames pretty cheap at a craft store in MN and have had them for a long time. I am glad I finally got around to using them. I think the fall one needs something else, so If I update it I will post it again. Have a good night.

Candy Jar

Emm'a Throwback Thursday Challenge

Hi Everyone, Emma at My Creative Time with Emma is having another Throwback Thursday Challenge. This weeks challenge was to use one of the Paper Doll cartridges and do some embossing. I made this cute little bag using the Tags, bags, boxes and more cartridge and the Paper doll dress up cartridge. I don't have a girl, but I was in the mood to do something girly. I will have to fill it with candy and give it to my little cousin Sidnie. I hope you all are having a great day and go to Emm's website to see what everyone else has done.

Fantasy Football Trophy Card

Hi All, ok so I tried to upload this the other night but I must have pressed the wrong button because after I uploaded everything it never posted to my blog. So I will try again today. So how is everyone today? We are getting a couple of inches of snow. Not too much and it is very pretty to look at. I don't like the cold, but have to admit when it snows it sure makes everything pretty.

For todays post I made a card for the Champion of the first Dawson's Fantasy Football game. He invited a bunch of friends to play and though he didn't win he sure had fun. It is crazy to see how much these kids know about football. I made a trophy card for the winner using the Sports Mania cartridge and added some football cards inside to send him. Hopefully he will be surprised. Congrats Ben!!

Christmas Thank You Cards

Wow it has been a long time since I have uploaded anything on my Blog. I didn't realize it was such a long time. I am hoping to be better with uploading now that the Holidays are over. I hope you all had an AWESOME holiday. Mine was great, but as usual it went by way too fast. Next year I plan to slow down and enjoy!

For today's post I made my Thank You Cards, using the Simply Charmed Cartridge. I love these cute little happy presents. Nothings better than a happy present right. Well I hope you all are doing well and I promise more posts. I might even have another one on here tonight. SHOCK! :).
